In 2002 our incredible journey began with the founding of 4 Paws Forever. We started with the simple premise that our pets are like family and that they should be treated as such when they cross over to the Rainbow Bridge. At the time, there were limited ways to honor a beloved pet that had passed. So, we started to sell custom memorial stones via mail order through a network of veterinarian practices and soon after that began offering them online.
We were the first mainstream company to plant trees in honor of our pets as a living memorial. In the mid 2000’s we began to offer pet memorial jewelry and by 2008 we started creating jewelry from your pet’s actual paw print. That’s when we realized something amazing. Everyone who had their pet’s paw made into a custom jewelry piece absolutely loved it but more importantly was the feeling of a reconnection with their lost pet.
To our surprise, this happened more often than it didn’t in every custom paw piece we made. The next few years we were creating custom paw print pieces for those who’s pets have passed but in the last few years all sorts of pet lovers from all over the planet have been creating one-of a-kind jewelry pieces from their pet’s actual paw print while they’re still with them.
